Over the past year, MSI has been working with NDS to help expand sales for Raindrip, their line of drip and micro-irrigation products. From pitching a new product strategy and concept to Lowe’s to developing a new product kit, MSI pulled out all the stops to make 2012 a success.
And a success it was! With MSI’s help, Raindrip received product placement in key areas outside their traditional markets, including a side cap and free-standing displays in the Lawn and Garden Department at Lowe’s. Raindrip also received placement in a Lowe’s innovation end-cap that was displayed in more than 400 stores across the country. The best part? The expanded product placement and new kit resulted in $1.2MM in sales for Raindrip in 2012!
NDS recently recognized MSI’s contribution to the Raindrip campaign, awarding “Team Hose to Drip Conversion” the 2012 NDS President’s Platinum Achievement award. NDS presents three President’s Achievement awards each year to recognize the significant accomplishments of NDS employees and NDS project teams. Earning this award means the project team received a high impact result and exemplified the NDS core values of accountability, teamwork and communication.
On presenting the award, Mike Gummeson, President and CEO of NDS, said, “I want to congratulate the entire MSI team on receiving this award and thank you for your outstanding contributions to NDS – not only on this project but for all of the work that you do for us. You are important members of the NDS team and make a very important difference!”
