Around the age of 3, I was accidentally thrown from the family car onto the gravel road of a small Texas town, a trauma which haunts me to this very day. I am way too accident prone to be considered a cool artist, but I’m reasonably tolerated by my peers nonetheless. Having been properly programmed by the imagery of the early 70’s, I make an excellent Wagon Wheel and can sing the “I’m Just a Bill” song verbatim. My parents are convinced that the car toss somehow explains why I spend an inordinate amount of time with my camera, wandering around the cemeteries of New Orleans.
