I'm what you might call "the accidental creative". I never meant to get into advertising. I received my degree in journalism and film studies. After college, I scoured the want ads for "Film Critic Wanted" and found "Designer Wanted - Must Know PageMaker" (it was the late 80's, PageMaker was still a viable program). I knew PageMaker and had rent to pay, so off I went. In my spare time I went to every business in my neighborhood peddling my wares and honing my skills. A few years later I had samples. Now I'm at MSI (for 12 or so years now) and feel it's right where I belong.

When not at MSI, I'm living the dream with my husband John, and 5-year-old twins, Jack and Henry. Another of life's happy accidents.

My favorite nut is Chicago Surrealist and Ned Flanders-look-alike Jim Nutt.
